Job Description: 

Birnn Chocolates of Vermont, Inc. is seeking a part time Customer Care Representative to join our Customer Support Team. Our office hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday and ideally this position’s responsibilities would be on Mondays & Tuesdays. With that in mind, hours between 9am-5pm are fairly flexible and you can help make your own schedule.

Birnn Chocolates of Vermont is a fourth-generation family owned wholesale business manufacturing delicious chocolate truffles for retailers nationwide.

Together with producing incredibly delicious chocolate truffles, we are equally committed to our customers and providing a level of service that goes above and beyond expectations. You’ll love this role if you if enjoy problem solving and finding ways to exceed our customers expectations.

The real deal: This is a part time office job in a warehouse location. Ninety-five percent of customer interaction is through phone calls and emails. Daily tasks are consistent. We are looking for someone who likes predictability but can also deal with a curve ball when needed.

Job Requirements: 
Bachelors or Associate degree in Business Administration preferred
Accounting software experience is a plus
Experience in sales would be ideal
Job Responsibilities: 
Answer incoming calls. You will be the voice of the company - both spoken and written. This means everything you say and write has an impact on the company as a whole. You must be professional and courteous in all communication, and our customers should be able to hear the smile in your voice!
Responsible for entering customer orders into Quickbooks accurately and efficiently. Attention to detail is required.
During our busier times, you may be required to learn about and participate in our production process.
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
Maintain an organized workflow to meet customer requests in a timely manner while maintaining an orderly office space.
Accounts Receivable - generate invoices, receive customer payments, file corresponding documents, and prepare daily deposits.
