Our Production Supervisor oversees the chocolate truffle production process and all manufacturing staff. This position requires a hands on approach for training and coaching team members. Must be capable of troubleshooting issues and making decisions as relates to safety, quality, production, continuous improvements, overall plant production goals, and efficiencies.

Job Requirements: 
The successful candidate must be able to actively supervise up to 25 people in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This includes informal coaching, balancing conflicting priorities and driving production efficiencies and goals.
Able to lift 30 lb. repetitively along with bending & crouching often
Works well with a diverse group of hard-working employees
Dependable and punctual
Repetitive movement: including lifting, picking, shaking and rotating
Capable of maintaining a stationary position 65% of the day
Job Responsibilities: 
Must be able to adapt to changing plans and clearly communicate changes out to the organization, following up accordingly, while continuously meeting production goals.
Contribute to all implementation that positively effects operations, whether to increase outputs and productivity, reduce wasted time and costs, etc.
Maintain a positive work climate by motivating, stimulating, and encouraging the employees under their responsibility to develop their skills and to take initiatives within their role. High attention to detail, find ways to be efficient, interest in machines and understanding their functions
Oversee and participate in the creation of batches of chocolate in our commercial kitchen, measuring, adding flavoring, with meticulous attention to details, sanitation, and consistency
Ensure the operation of chocolate processing equipment in a safe, clean and efficient manner
Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices; coach employees accordingly
Highly focused on increasing production line efficiency - including feeding truffles onto the conveyor, decorating truffles, and properly packing product
Actively supervise production from start to finish
Maintain product quality and uniformity standards
Able to do tasks quickly without compromising quality
Daily housekeeping of the facility
